LIFE: Legal Initiative for
Fraternity & Equality

A Lifetime of Learning.
A Mission for Justice.

For over three decades, my world was defined by the four walls of the lecture hall and the rigorous pursuit of legal scholarship. As I stood before generations of students at Government P.G. Law College, I always taught that the law is not merely a collection of statutes, but a living promise of Fraternity and Equality.

Upon my superannuation in January 2026, I realised that my journey with the law was not ending, but rather finding a new direction. My roots in the village of Bagari taught me early on that while the law exists in books, justice is often out of reach for those who need it most.

The Path to LIFE Foundation is born from this realization. We are moving from the theory of the classroom to the reality of the courtroom and the community.

Our mission is built on three inseparable pillars:

  • Education: Because the legal fraternity must be inclusive, supporting underprivileged students who will become the sentinels of tomorrow’s justice.

  • Awareness: Because a citizen who does not know their rights is a citizen without a voice.

  • Representation: Because Article 39A is a mandate, not a choice. We are committed to providing pro-bono drafting and aid to ensure that poverty never results in a denial of justice.

In the spirit of our Constitution, we believe that Equality, Liberty, and Dignity are the fundamental breaths of a healthy society. I invite you to join us on this path—whether as a volunteer, a student, or a supporter. Together, let us ensure that the law serves the last person in the line.
